Gabinete Psicologia is a team of professionals specialising in the many strands of psychological assessment and intervention, working with children, teenagers and adults, with services in psychology, psychiatry and nutrition.

The team works to a philosophy that fosters personal and professional growth, mental health and individual wellbeing, using the most recent and effective assessment and intervention methods.

Art therapy is a distinct practice, working through artistic creation, that sets out to promote wellbeing, whole creative development, the strengthening of innate artistic ability, the acquisition of creative skills that carry over into many areas of personal life, and better creative adaptability. It is a valid intervention in health, social, educational, recreational and cultural settings.

In practice it draws on artistic techniques with specific potential for the particular aspects of creative activation being fostered in the person concerned. The emphasis falls on the symbolic, communicative, creative and realising potential of the arts, and sessions are planned in advance around the needs of the people involved.
