Privacy policy

Note: this English version is a translation of the Portuguese original. Like the Portuguese draft, it is pending legal review before launch, and the Portuguese text prevails.

Jazzy Dance Studios handles the personal data you trust us with the way you would expect from a school where adults, children and teenagers dance. This policy explains what data we collect, what we use it for and what rights you have over it.

What data we collect

We only collect the data you give us: name, email and phone when you ask for a trial class or for information; your email when you subscribe to the newsletter; and, for Kids & Teens classes, the name of the parent or guardian and the student's age band.

The site also records technical data strictly needed to make it work and, with your consent, anonymous browsing statistics. See the Cookie Policy for the detail.

What we use your data for

We use your data to answer your request, book your trial class, manage your enrolment and — if you allow it — send you news about classes, schedules and events.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decisions.

Who we share it with

Your data is accessed by the Jazzy team and by the service providers who support us in running the website, the email and the enrolments, always under contract and only as far as necessary.

How long we keep it

We keep contact data for as long as your relationship with the school lasts and, after that, only for as long as legal obligations require. Newsletter subscription data is deleted as soon as you unsubscribe.

Your rights

At any time you can ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of or portability of your data, object to its processing and withdraw the consent you gave us — without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before then.

To exercise these rights, write to us at geral@jazzy.pt. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados).

Security

We put technical and organisational measures in place to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure, and we review those measures regularly.

Changes to this policy

Whenever this policy is updated, we publish the new version and its date here. Last updated: September 2026.
